We are currently seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee purchasing and inventory activities, select suppliers to ensure stock optimization, and implement cost effective purchasing processes for the company.
 

In this role, you will:

· Oversee the Purchasing Department and implement procurement strategies and policies to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow.

· Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships.

· Continually searches for new materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve improved quality, reliability, pricing, and delivery.

· Ensure that inventories are maintained.

· Ensure that deliveries from suppliers are timely.

· Maintain records of goods ordered and received.

· Coordinate the process of ordering and receiving between multiple locations.

· Evaluate and monitor market conditions and delivery timing to maintain appropriate inventory levels while ensuring continuity of supply and cost control.

· Collaborate with Parts, Production, Engineering, and Sales to maintain schedule and budget and identify opportunities to minimize part shortages.

· May perform other duties as required by business needs.
 

Qualifications we are looking for:

· Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.

· 5+ years of experience dealing with vendors and negotiating pricing.

· Demonstrated ability to source through multiple channels (including cold calling), secure and build relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

· Ability to negotiate effectively.

What you can expect as Purchasing Manager:

This position operates in an office environment; Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require some standing and walking at times.
 

Work Schedule and Benefits:

· Our standard office hours are Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm. Occasional work outside of normal office hours may be required as needed to fulfill the job duties.
